totaled my tow rig

im ok... pretty sure its totaled. insurance probobly wont pay a dime ill find out tomarrow.. so since im out 16k on this truck im pretty sure that the engine and tranny are going into the k5 wich is going to be a pain in the butt.. so does anyone have a deisil for real real cheep?'
whats stock? 82k5 (rock-rod?) ,74cj5 ,58cj

Look at the bright side, now you have a fuel injected motor for the K5.  Actually if the frame is still in good shape a new core support, radiator, grill and bumper might get it back on the road.

i bought my diesel for 3k needed little touch up, but runs like a champ. got it from one of those small dealers u see i the side of the road. was on craigs list too. pulls a 2000lb gooseneck trailer with 2 atvs and 2 dirt bikes and full of firewood and my 78 nice and straight,, going 85mph up hills. those old diesels are great for just a tow rig.

but depending on how much damaged has actually happen. (cant see all the details from the picture) you prob could get it atleast driveable for less then 3k.

Frame is really messed up. After lookin around it may be too big of a pain in a but to swap that engine and tranny to the k5. Im going to do some heavy wrenchin on the blazer sunday so that ill at least have somthin too drive.. Been lookin around for a replacement tow rig but im just not makin that good army money anymore lol.. does anybody know who would take that 2500 off my hands

Depending on trim, milage and other condition some small mom and pop dealership would buy it and rebuild it. OR you could keep it, prevent a salvage title and just rebuild it for what you will buy another rig for... just my .02 though. Not trying to tell you what to do in your situation or how to spend your hard earned cash.
