Forum Controls and page errors - Friday, April 23, 2010 7:35 PM
If you experience problems on the forum or it seems that certain buttons just don't seem to do anything, it may be due to your anti-virus software.  Some of the controls that are used in the new forum software may be seen by your AV software as a pop-up or a banner ad and will be blocked from running.  You may notice an "error on this page" message at the bottom of your browser window while navigating the forum or you may just notice some things that just do not work.

To fix this issue, add the following sites to your banner ad and pop up "white list", "allowed list", "safe list" or what ever your software calls it...
*dfw-tx4wd.org*                      <------this is our site
*telerikstatic.com*                   <------this is where the forum software pulls many of the control scripts

I have personally seen this with Kaspersky (KIS) and assume it will also occur with AVG (the scan engine KIS uses) and other similar tools.
