Keith's dad is a WWII Vet, as others have said. I know he fought in the early part of the war, was captured later and was a POW for a while, serving until the war in Europe ended at least. I believe he served as the "Top" sergeant for a while and received a battlefield commission during the war. He wrote a book at one point, I read it, and am going to dig it up for anyone else who wants to read it. No reason to be anything but proud of the man Keith. God bless you buddy.

Like the others I do recall about the book. He will live on in print still teaching others not to forget the reasons that Freedom has a price. [image]local://41/C673BE8C433F4DD593D1A68B93633E4D.gif[/image]

My Grandfather was a WWII vet and died a few years ago.... and nothing made me more proud than at his funeral to hear TAPS and to know we were able to do that with freedom because of people like him and John Miller. Keith Sorry for your loss and From my Family to yours.... YOU HAVE OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS !!!!!!
I did the Macarena with my dog in your bathroom because Big bird said so.

OK - I think I posted the wrong date that Keith gave. I believe he said Tuesday but gave me the 7th. I will try to call funeral home tomorrow.

ORIGINAL: meithkiller Thanks for the thoughts, prayers and the kind words! The following link is a good read and has information about the funeral: http://www.star-telegram.com/obituaries/story/620583.html Once again thanks! Wow! I just read the story about your Dad. Truly amazing. Would love to read his book, too.
