Why are my subscribed threads not being saved?
Why are the threads I start not showing up under my profile?

Try the subscriptions now?
When we hosted with GoDaddy, their mail system would simply STOP forwarding messages. I called them one day and asked what's up? They said that it was because we had a limit as to how many emails they would forward for our "account level". Long story short, we are no longer with GoDaddy, but I forgot to reenable subscriptions after the move.
I am not sure about why you can't see the threads you start in your profile. See if that is different now too?

yeah, now it looks like a big red staple in front of a glass window with blue tint on top of it... or maybe a weird piece of paper... no clue

Is this why I never get any e-mail notification of new posts? I haven't gotten one in ages.

Well, I don't know if it's punishment for talking about the non-existent to fickle e-mail notification system, but this afternoon I got deluged with a gajillion e-mail notifications dating back from who knows when from the "Post pad it here" thread - LOL.
