After attending the past bod meeting...I felt this topic needed user input. So I started a thread over on the TMTC forums http://www.tmtc.net/forums/showthread.php?p=3197#post3197 If this effects or concerns you, please read it and ask questions or offer suggestions. Don't make the bod make important decisions without hearing your thoughts. Thank You

I always felt that BMRA and TMTC were the same. I have always paid for the TMTC membership thinking it was required @ BMRA. Now there is also the "Off hwy vehicle" pass that is required only @ BMRA. To me it's seems to be a high cost to support an agency that has only opened 2 locations in 10 or so years. There are local and regional "clubs" that have opened more locations and built more relationships with land owners in the same time period without all the "BOD" hassle. I'll still go atleast once a year and show my support in the form of membership, but I really think it's more a show than anything. My .02

www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/ohv/ Texas Off Highway Vehicle Program is a state program with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. This is not part of TMTC. It is required @ BMRA or EDRA along with other places within the State of Texas. There are many things going on at TMTC. Yes, there has been in the past some confusion about if you were becoming a member of BMRA or TMTC. There are many at TMTC that are working on improvement of communication - which includes making sure that members know this type of information. As stated by Laura - go to www.tmtc.net and find out what is going on and provide input. TMTC is a member organization. Thanks
