going to bridgeport for the weekend 12/11-12/12 its the second saturday so we plan to camp. anybody else want to go? Just got my buggy back running!

i hope so if they shut it down at 5 i might as well go home.
No night wheeling and no alcohol at camp (or in the park at all for that matter). I'm sure Z will chime in with any additional rules.

For anyone with questions or concerns, all fires will absolutely have to be... self-contained (such as a bbq pit, washtub , or barrel), and, it must be elevated off the ground. Those limitations are to be strictly followed and not compromised. Any ashes must also be carried out of the Park and off City property to be disposed of by the campers.
What we do not want are empty bottles, cans, cups, or any other trash being littered on the ground. There are plenty of trash receptacles in the parking/camping area for all trash to be disposed of. Also, all camping must be contained entirely within the main parking area around the gate house surroundings.
Everyone, just please be respectful. The privilege of camping that the City has extended will only continue if all goes well at the Park...they make the rules on this...if there are any further questions or concerns, please contact the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Bridgeport. Thanks, and have a good time
