Hey guys, my name is Jason and I'm the VP of the Liberty County chapter of Tx4wd. Just thought I'd join up over here and say hi. I have a buddy that lives in Plano that I've been trying to get him to meet up with yall. Anyway, my rig is as follows:
2001 Jeep TJ
Stock 4.0L w/Edelbrock header & K&N..
D30 front w/Quicklock and 4.88's
D44 rear w/a mini spool and 4.88's
3" body lift and 1" motor mount lift
4" Procomp short arm susp. lift
PORC SYE kit and Tom Woods rear CV driveshaft
36" IROKs on 15 x 10" black steels..
Just finished my custom front bumper made out of 3" x 5" rectangular tubing and I have a XRC8 winch ready to mount to it sitting in my garage.
Bought my Jeep new in 01, been a member of Tx4wd since then. Slowly worked my Jeep up the line from stock to where it is now. Hopefully in the next few years I can build a roll cage, and hope to build a custom 4 link suspension under it to get rid of the ****py short arms.. After that, maybe stronger axles, but I have fun with it as it sits already.. don't want it to get too big too fast, I like to see what my limitations are and just stretch them forward a little at a time... it's more fun that way. I've been to about 7 of the Mega Runs, including the first 2 or 3 that were held at Shiloh Ridge. I actually went to the first one with my buddy, before I bought my Jeep... that's the reason I got hooked on wheeling, so thanks to yall for putting on the Mega Run! Anyway, enough about my junk, here's a pic of it from our trip to Gilmer this past weekend. Hope to meet some of yall some day on the trail.
It's the one on the right, some of you may recognize it.
