Tonto first run Bridgeport 9/25

Well I just couldn't wait and even though it isn't completely finished (what really is) I had to test out some key parts before heading out to Clayton next month. My home made front skid didn't like my new long arm setup so I am going to try and customize it later this week. My belly pan worked great however so I wasn't completely naked. MY boat side rocker guards should be in later this week hopefully. The ARG hydro assist was great. Worked flawlessly and my 4yr old was able to turn it very easily on the access roads out that the park. I was a bit nervous because it is very close to everything but it worked great. The Clayton flex was "stupid insane" compared to what I had so I love it. Waiting for an RTI ramp to show up at my house to try it out but it was extremely noticeable not only on the rocks but the ride was also a lot softer everywhere else. Now onto the Rockers...well, air the hell down. Waaaayyy down. To what exactly I don't know. My gauge only reads to 10 so under that. I only hit a couple of spots because I had the family out there so my wife was juggling a 4yr old a 1yr old and a camcorder. She did great and we are very proud of Tonto and how far the jeep has come and to also all the friends we have had to support us and help out with the build. When spending a bagillion dollars on parts its good to know there's forums like this one where you can ask. And if you ask me I"m happy with all the mods I've done. Ask me after Clayton or the King of the Canyons race I might be crying about something but at least my welds held for the 1hr we were at Bridgeport.

Looking good, I remember when that thing was stock and you broke an axle at Gilmer. Quite a change since then.

Tonto is looking and sounding great! loved your cheering section in the vids.

I just might. My Oct schedule has changed already so I don't think I will be competing (breaking parts) in Fredricksburg so if not I will definitely be out at BP.

Glad you are happy with the upgrades my friend.  That was quite a bit of work.
