Wow...What a muddy mess out a Gilmer! Definitely had to add a diamond or 2 to the trail ratings. Had fun with David, Mark and Chris. Will post pics when I can.

Yeah, they are certainly going to have their hands full at the work weekend coming up! Even some of the access roads should have had a diamond or three!! Still had a good time though, just wish there were more trails we could have run.

I had a great time with great people despite the fact that I broke the Zuki Friday night and limped around on Sat trying to keep up with those Jeeps! LOL! The weather wasn't the best but I haven't been out once this year camping and it not rained or been muddy so it wasn't so bad. I also got to meet Marks brother from Jersey which was cool too. I do have to say that those boys in the Houston Chapter are not nearly as organized as out clan! The confusion and disorganization was brutal!

Myself and Austin had a blast as well. I even let Austin do some light mudding and trying his hand at some driving around on Sunday afternoon near the rock garden. he was mostly the photographer and took some real good photos of all the rigs from our group. I will try to create a photobucket album this week. I would echo what Chris said regarding the organization of the Houston chapter's run, ...., no comparison to Megarun. Not downing it, we had fun, they only had about 10 items to raffle. Just wanting to say how outstanding this group does on putting on an event.

I had fun Friday and left early Saturday to meet Mary's family for a birthday celebration. Didn't manage to break anything but my back was soar for bouncing in that truck, gotta soften the suspension. Chris I owe you a six pack - Mark good call on the easy up. I have pics but I broke my phone cord, will get them later.
