TMTC Meeting - April 28th
Saturday, April 07, 2007 7:40 PM
( permalink)
The meeting on April 28th is for all members. Everyone should be getting a postcard in the mail about it. Basically, the IRS said to become a 501c3 charitable org, we must reorganize and make the individual properties corporations of their own. with the TMTC being a parent corporation. They also said we need to more accurately represent the state by forming regions. To change our bylaws...it takes at least 2 General membership meetings....that's one year...the IRS wanted this done by Feb 15th...but would settle for something in good faith. Hence on the Jan 27th GM Meeting the membership in attendance called for a April 28th GM Meeting to vote on the proposed changes(which are extensive) and helping decide on the region seperations and the number of user representatives. The Timeline: the postcard is sent the bylaw changes are posted online voting online the meeting on April 28th...hamburgers will be served (Information from Laura. Thanks Laura)

Hope to be there around 8-9 a.m. Sat. morning. Probably leave around 4-5 p.m. same day. Plan on renewing membership and voting, then some light wheeling. I'll be in my silver Taco running street tires....
