Soldiers Jeep Vandalized, PBB Response!

http://www.nbc5i.com/news/17550315/detail.html?rss=dfw&psp=news Thats the news story http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=718463 There is the Pirate4x4 response The soldier in question (Viktor Whitlow) attends Dallas Baptist University, has been to Iraq twice, and walked out of class the other day to find a total of $13000 of vandalism performed to his TJ! Pirate4x4 has caught wind of this and a paypal has been set up to help offset the costs of repairs, and even went a step further in contacting vendors and such, and so Blue Torch Fab has stepped up to fix this Vets Jeep, and to fix it RIGHT. They are so far planning a three day 'Fab Stock' to completely rework everything. I sent a message to Viktor with our website address, and told him to check it out. The vandals tried to use cowardly tactics to break Viktor's spirit, but what they didnt count on was the common ties that make wheeling the best pastime ever, and if youre willing to donate some money heres the PayPal is here : https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_flow&SESSION=dJ4RGym4NHcfoE6uujhHvPnGdk2Iy3AeaU5F8p9bFDfiSzI5rteIEMATf_q&dispatch=5885d80a13c0db1f38432c9462fe731381a7a80e09148cd40fd400e193a86a7d Lonestar Jeeps has also offered a free membership to him, and since his rig was already modified (33" Baja Claws, Rubicon wheels, 4.56 gears, Lockright in the front, Detroit and 44 in the rear, etc) we know this is no mall crawler! Even if you dont wish to donate, you can still post up in the Pirate4x4 thread, or find other ways to show your support.
--Channing Ramos I can follow Jeeps. I just dont need to go to the mall or the mechanics. '94 Samurai. With stuff. Those who wont use violence are subject to those that do.

That is just wrong on so many levels. It's good to see everyone is willing to help him out. As soon as payday rolls around I will donate some cash as well.

Unfortunately, theives and vandals have no concept of right and wrong, or no conscience when it comes to what they are doing. A few years ago, when I was managing an apartment complex in Dallas, we actually caught a kid trying to rip out our stereo in our jeep, and held him till the police got there. He said to us, in front of the police, that when he got out he'd be back to finish the job, and that we deserved to get stolen from, because we were "rich" and he was poor( and illegal.) If our government would enforce the laws, instead of giving free rides to people breaking our laws, then maybe we could sleep at night. Sorry to hear this vet got taken, maybe someone saw something, or someone could offer a reward? They usually get turned in by family or friends for the cash( see, no conscience!)

Im a huge fan of the oldschool, cut off a hand!! I guarantee there would be A LOT less stealing going on if someone knew they would loose a hand if they got caught. Branding would work better than jail but Im all about the amputation!! LOL!! Sorry, thats a little morbid, but IT WOULD WORK!!

Sorry, thats a little morbid, but IT WOULD WORK!! amen!! take the 2nd hand off after the 2nd time and bet you dont have too many 3rd offenders! I find it amazing that a person(s) could do that much damage to a veh and no one see or hear anything at all. I am betting these scum bags will be caught and when they do, I bet they wont sleep much at night. And, like I always say, what comes around goes around, everyone gets thiers in the end :P I too think its awesome that BTF is re-building his jeep. Just a shame a local company couldn't have gotten it.

The vandalisim in its' self is extremely awful. I've had my Jeep broken into twice, but nothing to the extent of that. The "message" that someone/some group, tried to send in this particular crime is even more troubling to me. I guess it's extremely closed minded of me to wonder how someone can try and protest against something in such a strong way, through a crime. Gotta love these people running around in the world today, who think they've got the right.
