Shiloh Ridge Truck Rodeo was a blast!!

For those of you who say you don't do Shiloh because of the mud that's a poor excuse. this place has a great deal of trails and most you don't have to worry about breaking your rig. Tonto and "THE REAL COUNTRY BOY" wheeled all weekend and were still able to drive back to Arlington. Don't get me wrong, there are mud HOLES but I don't have 56in tractor tires or 500hp so I use that thing called the steering wheel and drive around them. The events were great to watch and the weather was perfect. Will definately be back in Nov for Rutz b-day....he's turning 29 again. Subscribe to my you tube vids search "JEEP TONTO" FYI spell check button link broke: Forbidden You don't have permission to access http://www.dfw-tx4wd.org/...lt2006&Mode=0& on this server.
Will work for Jeep parts.

Yeah Rutz and his wife are a great couple to be around and Money Pit and his crew were very cool as well. Chis aka "The Real County Boy" and his full size dodge hung with all weekend with everyone on the trails we ran. He is also one bad a#$ trail mechanic that we couldn't do without. His beast also has the HP to get us out of most "sticky" situations. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=susD6j1dYAI

Me and Tiff had a blast I can guarantee that any trail ride that RUTZ and MONEY PIT are going on we will be there as well. We had a ton of fun and I enjoyed proving to ya'll that my full size could run with ya'll or at least cut a new path lmao. We went through hundreds of trails which added up to about 40-50 miles worth of trails and we didn't even get to cover them all. As for those worried about mud not prob out of all those trails we only came across a couple that had small mud holes. Most of everything out there was hill climbs and off camber trails all of which ranged from extremely mild to wild I wheeled my full size dodge all weekend long with no problem at all no once this weekend did I get stuck. I came close but I soon realized I was in 2h still lol. anyways had a blast guys and we're already planning on heading out on another shiloh run here in the next month or so and I can guarantee we'll be at the next truck rodeo in november for RUTZ's B-day.

WELL GUYS I APPRECIATE ALL YALL COMING OUT TO SHILOH RIDGE. IT RANKS UP THERE WITH THE BEST TIME I EVER HAD WHEELING. AND I WILL BE GOING BACK IN NOVEMBER. MAY BE GOING TO THE HALLOWEEN RUN. EVEN THOUGH I BURNT UP MY FUEL PUMP AND BROKE THE U-JOINT, THE STRAPS AND THE YOKE I STILL WHEELED THE PI#@$^ OUT OF MY RIG. YALL ARE GOOD PEOPLE AND GREAT COMPANY. WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND A PERSONAL INVITE TO YOU ALL AND YOUR FRIENDS TO COME TO SHILOH RIDGE IN NOVEMBER AND CAMP AND WHEEL WITH US. LAURA HAD A BLAST AS WELL. I THINK IT WAS A RECORD SETTING WEEKEND AT SHILOH BECAUSE EVERYONE WHEELED AND DROVE THERE RIGS ON THE TRAILER OR ALL THE WAY BACK HOME. WILL BE LEAVING THE UJOINT AS IS UNTIL AFTER THE CLEBURNE BARBQUE. WHAT A RIGGING JOB WE DID ON THAT U-JOINT AND YOKE. THANKS COUNTRY BOY!

Yeah man, it was a blast and 99.9% rain my arse. the weather was perfect. If Country Boy is gonna be there to wheel in Nov only better because with a battery, keychain, and a tent stake he can rig up just about anything.

I had a hella time guys. My wife can not believe I did not break anything majior. I know for the next run I will have me a new roll cage, fiberglass rear leaf springs.....because mine are now pretzels, and will be running on racing fuel. I had to run that mud bogg 3 times...but it was all good. Even though I jumped my timing belt in the 3rd run. But thanks to country boy and his mobile fixer truck i was able to reset it, and run the trail run. By the way how many of you carry a full tool box including a TIMING LIGHT!!!!! inside your rigs????? I laughed soooo hard when I asked jokingly if chris had a timing light to finish my rig and he said YES!!!!

I like the pic of money pit drifting sideways on the barrel race, I can't believe it came out so clear. I wanted to get the same pic of rutz but he broke on the way to the barrel by me. Sorry rutz I'll get it next time. Hey also I think I might have solved your timing belt issue Wade. What if you used timing belt sprockets that had deeper grooves than the belt that way any mud would get pushed out of the sides instead of getting pinned between the belt and sprocket. This t-belt issue has been driving me nutz we'll figure it out I guess. Let me know what you think about the deeper grooves idea.
