Shiloh Ridge Fall Truck Rodeo! (Yes Jeeps can come too!)

Ok wheelers, its getting close to time to start planning for that Fall wheelin trip to shiloh Ridge. It is the weekend of November 11, 12 and 13th. We will be going on Thursday the 10th and wheel for 4 days. The Truck Rodeo Events are on Saturday the 12th. They start around noon with the Barrel race, Sand drags, Obstacle coarse, Snake run and then the Mud bog. These are all Trophy events with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place given in each engine class (4 cyl. only) and tire class. You can even pay up into the next higher class. Big party at the Mudd Pitts after the events are over. We have plenty of camping reserved. Let me know if you plan on bringing an RV so I can save you a spot with water and electric.

This was a good time last year.  I will have to try and fit this one in.

What are the costs?

It is $40.00 per offroad rig for the weekend. $15.00 per extra rider over 15 years old for the weekend. It is $5.00 to enter the truck rodeo for 1 or all events and $5.00 if you want to pay up to the next class. Camping is free with entry paid. If you want another camp site and not stay at mine you need to call Kelly at Shiloh ridge. You may want to reserve because they go fast.

I probably won't be at this one again, but this year it's because I'm going to their Halloween Ride with the other group I used to go with that got me started in this whole mess. 
 
These people owe me LOTS of money for the thousands they forced me to spend on this in the last 5 years! 

We will be there as usual.  I have not missed one since I started going in 2007.  We are still kicking around camping down in the bottoms where it is less crowded and quiet.  More of the "woods" type experience.   I will be running most of the competitions as usual, but might opt out of the sand drag this time.  Unless I can come up with $1200 for a new Strange Ford 9" third member.

We might make it if i can get the cage in and a new transfer case.

Thanks Ryan! I Emailed Kelly about the date. She did confirm it is the 11th, 12th and 13th. Web master type-o. They are also having a halloween run nad it is a huge event they have every year. Also New years eve bash also is a big event. Yall really need to go some time. Pray for rain!!!!

Eh, just not really interested in Shiloh.

I don't really care for mud either but it would be fun to watch and cheer on of fellow club members that compete!

Sorry guys aint gonna make this one.... im gonna focus on building the jeep up more and getting a trailer hopefully be ready to hit the trails by megarun

Haha thats what mine looked like too when we put those riverraider skids on.  BUT we didnt HAVE to go play in the mud.  We didnt have to get your rear axle springs stuck.  We didnt have to go in the sand.
But we did and it was fun as hell!
We did some fun night wheeling out there too.
