Shiloh Ridge 04.14-17.11

Hey Yall - I just got back from Shiloh last night late.  I dont know why so many people are down on that place from here.  It was stinkin awesome.  I really liked it.  I had to come back early (posting this from work right now) but everyone else is still up there.  It is really nice.  We had a campsite with electricity and running water.  There were ok bathrooms AND hot and cold running showers.  That was really nice!  Also a little jeep bath spot with a hose if you decided to get muddy, which I did.
We ran about 58 miles according to my speedometer of trails.  We ran until about 2am one night.  No closing down at 10pm.  That was very cool as I got to use my new LED lights.  They rock if you are curious.  But what I heard about all the mud and there only being mud is just not true people.  There were a few spots where you had to go through a little mud but nothing major.  I got a little crazy and got stuck just to see what my jeep would do.  With the wash spot its no  big deal to get it out of your tires before its rock hard.
DFW-TX4wd did represent at the truck rodeo.  We have several 1st place trophies in our camp!

I am sold on shiloh RUTZ.  I will go back any time!

Cool. I tell people that all the time. plenty of stuff  there and its not just only mud.
One night we ran till 5am lol  I love the night wheeling.

I heard plenty of bad stuff about Barnwell too. doesnt mean i wont go there to experience first hand.  I heard bad stuff about shiloh. but i went once with rutz and moneypit and i can tell you the stories i heard were nothing compared to what the park was really like. 
 
so before you start bashing a park that you have NEVER been too. I would get the facts straight. i wonder if the person that told the stories i heard has even been there cause they didnt know what they were talking about

Wish i was there but the rims havnt come in yet!

I didnt have any major carnage.  Some scratches from a crazy a$$ atv trail we took in the dark.  A few more dents in my rock sliders.  A few more scratches in my other skids.  A little mud, a little dust and eventually some damage to my wallet as I think up other **** I want now.  The lift, lights and tires were definitely worth it though!
 
As for the 5 files on the server you need to get all 5 and have them in the same folder.  They need to be put back together in to 1 big file.  Open the first one and it should see the others.  Then you should see all the high res pics and videos.  They are rar files so make sure you use winrar or another program that supports rar files.

I have been out there, though it has been a long time. It does have a lot of versatility and a fun place to go. I think for me in the end the fun would be hanging out and wheeling with you guys, you know your in for a treat when Roger is around! I keep trying to make it out but the shallow pockets keep denying me lol!

Yeah he did break a few things and was just running rough in general after the first day.
 
I think I am going to have to buy a pressure washer or spend $30 at the car wash tonight.  I need to get all that mud out of my undercarriage.  It dried up and shifted a bit.  Now its rubbing every time I hit a bump.  I think I am just going to take my ramps to the carwash tonight and get it all out.

WOW! WHAT A WEEKEND! WE HAD A FREAKIN BLAST.  A GREAT TURN OUT! I TORE UP A FEW THINGS ON MY RIG. LOL! GOTTA PUT THAT NEW MOTOR IN THAT I HAVE BEEN ITCHING TO PUT IN. REPLACE A DANA 60 INNER SHAFT THAT I LOST A U-JOINT CAP ON AND STRETCHED THE HOLE ON IT. SHEARED THE BOLTS ON MY FRONT DRIVE SHAFT AT THE T-CASE YOKE. (THAT WAS AN EASY FIX). SOMETIMES I DIDNT HAVE ANY BRAKES (THAT WAS SPOOKY) SO I REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER. THAT DIDNT HELP! SO I DONT KNOW WHATS UP WITH THAT. I THINK IVE GOT A COMPUTER PROBLEM AS WELL. SOMETIMES IT RAN GREAT THEN "POP POP"?????? WOULDNT RUN WHEN IN DRIVE BUT IDLED FINE AND REVED UP WITH NO PROBLEM. EVEN RAN FINE IN REVERSE.???????? ANY IDEAS??? I AM RUNNING A TBI SUSTEM. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO GOT TO COME I ENJOYED YALLS COMPANY AND ARE GOOD PEOPLE. NOW LETS GET READY FOR THE FALL TRUCK RODEO AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!! ITS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!!!!

Sounds like it was a blast. Sorry we flaked out on y'all. I got the burb tagged friday afternoon, then if failed inspection, they want me to have the egr and smog pump in place (but that's another topic all together. Then on the way home from that the brake pedal started going soft after longer runs at hwy speeds. Worked fine after pumping it up some. But at 9,00lbs, I figure I need reliable brakes before heading out that far from home.
 
Glad to see y'all had fun though. Sooner or later we'll surprise y'all and show up at a run.

Please take the time to PM Mark (Squeeky) about website concerns. No offense was meant by the "watermark" it's just a way to keep pictures from being pirated off of the site and used for ill reasons.

In no way is the watermark suggesting that we are responsible for the pics. The watermark is there to protect your pics. To attack our security actions on a website you choose to frequent is what's gay. Since we host the pics on our severs that we pay for it is in our best interest to have the watermark.

Any wheelin' pics or did you guys just drink and look at trophies? 

OMG... Really... complaining about this lol......
 lots of sites use the watermark now cause people always steal pics from other sites and clame them as their own.  This is simply a security setting to prevent that. 
 
and if you dont want the water mark then upload with photobucket and copy the link here. no water mark. and you can clame the happy little pic as all yours!!!!
