RESOLVED:::: about 4wdfactory.com Saturday, February 12, 2011 4:42 PM (permalink)
beware of 4wdfactory.com

i placed an order for some new Ubolts for a Dana 60 and GM 14 bolt and only recieved half my shipment.  i recieved none of the dana 60 parts.  I called so many times during there normal bussiness hours and i can never get anyone to answer but one time and he stated the items should of came together and he will look into it and call me back in a hour.  I got no call back from him, so i then tried to call the store and got no answer. All i get is the machine that says order online from our store. I alsoget the answering machine and leave a message. I have even emailed and got no reply.  Im about to put a claim on paypal. Ill admit the the first half of my shipment got here within 4 days of the order. so i was happy with that part, but now upset cause i did not recieve all of what i ordered.
i think there is only one guy that runs the online store cause i only see one name on everything.
Just a heads up from anyone wanting to order from 4wdfactory.com  based in texas

Man , thats one of the big issues dealing with online or mail order, no store to walk into and talk to a person if there ever is an issue. Or being able to call and talk to the same person every time.

Good luck and hope you get it resolved.

get their address. we can take him. The first annual business crawl. next time get your u bolts from champion spring off henderson in downtown fort worth they can build custom u-bolts or oem u-bolts for dirt cheap and they are alot stronger than the ones you can purchase out of a catalog. broke a u-bolt on our old outlaw 10.5 monte carlo about two years after we had them made and the owner just gave us a free set for that side complete with nuts and washers.

I second Champion spring.  We had a sweeper hit in the rear and bent only the locater leaf.  Freightliner said we had to buy the whole leaf pack for 1200 bucks.  I walked out of champion with the only bad spring for 70 bucks!

I've done business without any issues several times with 4wdfactory.

I usually get my u-bolts from Champion as well, although they have cut threads instead of rolled.

OK UPDATE:   So I just receieved my package finally only took over a month lol...

I ordered 2 packages at the same time. I recieved the first package on time... 2nd packaged i never recieved. they resent another one cause of insurance, but I never recieved again.  Then I found out the package was returned to sender cause the put the wrong address on it.  they put 2790 Vista Dr.   my address is 2790 Vista View Dr.    so after a month i finally recieved it..... I just wish the communication was a lot better. I dont understand tho, how the same order went to 2 different addresses.....but live and learn =)
