Nocona, TX - AGR Wheelin Ranch

Hey everyone, I know I am new to the site, but some co-workers and I are working on going up to Nocona in the near future (1-2 month range). Wondering who would like to join us. None of us are really familiar with the area and I have only been twice with FWD-FWD a couple of years ago. We currently have 1 CJ and 3 TJ's ready and willing. All of them are running 4" lifts with 33" tires. Lets see if we can get something coordinated for a day trip since budgets are tight for everyone I know. Please post with input and if you would be able to be a trail guide due to knowledge of the area. I will try to do as much research as I can and would love to get some input and help. In the picture attached: My jeep is the 2001 Silver TJ and one of my coworkers has is 1998 Green TJ. Picture taken in Hot Springs, AR 2009 at the Jeep Jamboree we attended. You can also catch us at the following URL (MilitaryJeepers.com): http://www.militaryjeepers.com/community/showthread.php?24524-Jeeps-of-the-301st-Propulsion-Shop

Looks like its not much farther than Bridgeport? I might be interested if we can firm up some plans a little bit. I would lean more to a FRI/SAT or SAT type thing. Working sundays right now so late night saturdays are a bummer. But hey I get a 3 day weekend every week!

Okay, I was affraid of that since I was having a hard time finding information on it. So the next closest location would be.... Bridgeport? And has anybody been to Brushy Creek Motor Farm? I have not been to either place. Who would be interested in these locations? And who would be interested in maybe being a trail guide?

Squeaky I'm pretty sure this place is no longer open. Squeaky is correct...land developers bought and closed it down several years ago, a shame because it was a fun place to rock crawl...rather small, but packed full of short and difficult off camber crawls full of big obstacles.

Not a bad idea. I looked it up and see that Tolar is just past Granbury and only about 1 hour drive. What is going on out there? First time I have heard of anything out that direction. Interested though...

Squeaky mb817 yall can come to Tolar and help us cut some trails. So the LSJC exclusive rights period has ended? http://www.lonestarjeepclub.org/board/showthread.php?t=50022&page=2 They never had "exclusive rights" to begin with...just more of the same old failed worn out intimidation tactics as usual. Mike has asked for trail cutting help on several forums, and when we have a free weekend we intend to take our butts out there and do as such.

Okay, well all the that asside. I will talk to the wife and see about trying to meet up on Sunday in Cresson with somebody if that is possible and I live in Saginaw area if that will work as well. I do not own a chainsaw but I am great at manual labor. Is there anybody that will have an open passenger seat, and if so please email me so we can work out some details. gantzermc@gmail.com I will work on some recruiting with my coworkers as well.
