Have been wanting to get a 4x4 for as long as I can remember. Finally got my first one this week. '11 Jeep Liberty Sport, so I'm looking forward to finding people in the DFW area to get together with and learn a lot more :)

Good to have you man. To be honest, I dont think I have ever seen a Liberty on the trails. Should be cool to see you go!

Thanks. Yeah, I'm really hoping to start getting out every weekend as soon as I find some place that's not too tough for me to learn and is pretty close by.

Michelle and I work there on alternating weekends. We will be happy to talk with you and show you around on what you can do as your Jeep is still stock. We have a Liberty Sport also, and know of several that have been modified with a budget boost and bigger tires. Hope to see 'ya out there.

Definitely! I was looking at their park info last night. Looks like it's $25 to enter and I'm a little confused on the OHV sticker. Any info on that, whether it's required for full vehicles or just atv's / dirt bikes? From the texas ohv site, it said they were valid through August of the current year, that had me confused too, heh.

The Texas OHV sticker is required on all vehicles that go off-road on publicly owned property. They do expire each year on August 31 and at this time Bridgeport Northwest OHV Park does not have any decals available for sale. I am not certain of the status of the 2012 decals and whether or not they will be sold at the Park. They can be purchased on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/ohv/ You can enter the park and wheel without the decal, however, the responsibility of obtaining and displaying the decal falls on the driver of the off-road vehicle. Enforcement is done by the Texas Parks and Recreation Rangers. If a ranger is in the park you could be ticketed. Having said all that....we hope to see at the park soon!
