Well I had some free time Friday and wanted to wheel BAD! 360 is closed now and Lipan was too far. Me and my brother-in-law loaded up and went to try the adventure park in Roanoke. They dont do rigs anymore. Ok, so we thought about it and said lets go to Bridgeport. Well we made it there and found the gate was open but nobody working or wheeling. I didnt want to be there illegally so we asked this Bridgeport native of any other parks. We found one.

We spoke with the owner there. He said we can wheel the rig but wont fit anywhere because it is set up for dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. He said to just stay on the trails allready in place. There was no problem of mowing trees down on trails. We wheeled and it was amazing. We as a club need to go back and trim this place for us. I had a short conversation with the owner and he said next weekend we can talk about having a club run out there with chain saws and such. He said he never thought about doing that and he is interested.

So.....next weekend anyone?

Too cool.  We definitely need to help him while he is open to the prospect.  He can pick up more business this way and we will have another fairly close wheeling spot.

Thats what I did. At firs we just ran some ground then got boarded trying to menuver around trees and not fitting thru trails. So whe just started plowing them thru. these texas trees are easy to plow down. I got a bunch in the engine compartment and the whole trip smelled like we were a portable camp fire.

Are you looking at going out there the 11th or the 18th?  I'd be interested in checking it out and helping to clear trails.

this weekend is out for me...work and rig repairs also...

ive talked to the owner before and he seems hesitant about jeeps terring up his proporty.....

i think the best way to do it would be to have the club leaders present him with the ideas and smooth talk him in..........

just make sure to inform him that we arent look for a place to go "muddin" and actin like a bunch drunk asses ..........
