Looking for 350 motor Sunday, January 30, 2011 1:01 PM (permalink)
The 305 in my CJ is jacked. Wanting to get this built before Megarun. Under 500 bucks complete if possible.

        this must be going around, i could use 1 too, carbed is fine but i wouldnt mind fuel injected. only paid 500 for the truck so as cheep as possible so long as its running

          granted its not $500. but you can get a complete stock 350 new with 3 years unlitmited miles warrenty from oriellys for about 1100. you will need to turn in a core too.
           
          But ill keep my eyes open

              Check AER in Dallas, they rebuild engines for fleet vehicles, you should be able to get a short block fairly cheap.  Not sure the contact info but a google search should get you there.

                    FOUND 350 motor!! Monday, January 31, 2011 5:31 PM (permalink)
                    Picked up a 5.7L 350 today. ****py weather makes great shop time. And yeah I turned it on and drove it around. It was installed on a firebird that the guy was getting a 454 built for. Sounds like a beast. Will posts pics soon. Oh yeah, and because "Daisy" fell off a car dolly  on I20 her name has changed to "Dolly".
