That would be a double yes! Although the pic in my avatar is not from megarun! It was from a run I did in Canada before I moved down here!

ORIGINAL: RabbitInTheMoon where is lipan? If you click on the "Wheeling" link at the very top of the page above the tire tracks, there is a map for Rock Creek (Lipan) as well as a link to a generic page about the place. That other page has a link to the "official" park site on Myspace as well. Like Noma said, it is west of Fort Worth. Pretty much the other side of I-20 from Mineral Wells.

Oh I see! Asleep at the wheel. I went with some of the people from this site some time back in my wagoneer. Armour-- we followed a group trail ride at mega run with you. We were in a white samurai that we twisted up a spring at the end of the trail.

I say BMRA sounds good! Alot more land for a long weekend! BMRA is not much more if you have a membership! And if you buy a membership your first weekend is free! I remember you rabbit! How did you make out with that? Did yo get it fixed?

With a membership I was able to come in Friday and leave Sunday (camping two days) for 30 something at BMRA. BMRA has 160 miles of trails for all skill levels, the only thing I don't like is all the red sand it gets everywhere. Everytime I go I think I breathe in a pound of sand.

It did not seem near as bad last weekend. Stuff was still a bit damp and there was nobody there to stir up much dust. Now Megarun is a different story! The red dust gets absolutely everywhere. The worst part is when you forget to crank up the blower before you leave...riding down the road and you hit the heat or ac on high and end up with a dust storm inside and a facefull of Gilmer's finest.

I think for next MegaRun I will roll up the windows and put a home air filter in the passenger seat ! Speaking of MegaRun I am surprised no one has started a thread about the next megarun.
