Katemcy or K2 as it is now called

Went to K2 This weekend and helped build the Pavilion for the bands to play under. Went wheeling for about an hour and saw most of the place. Randy Kruse (Part owner)rode with me and gave me the nickle tour as we pulled out a stuck 2wd pickup. The new camp is huge and flat with tons of liveoak trees for shade and grass for tents everywhere. They have a consession stand built and a big shower area to clean up will be finished soon. From what little I saw it was muddy from all the rain but the pink granite appears to be a LITTLE softer if you will that the old place. If you hit with your diff the stuff kinda flakes off and will sometimes break the points of the rock off but it is still granite. Traction was awsome even with muddy swampers. From what I saw it will be as good or better than the old place. There are a lot of truly virgin place to wheel. If you like to freelance this is your place. Just about anything goes and nothing is off limits if you got the guts to try it.
