Yeah, Toyota Trail Riders, a local club of which I'm a member, hosts the Toyota Jamboree. Money raised from the event is often donated to BMRA to help maintain the park. Definitely a well-organized, very fun event with guided runs, event challenges, awesome raffle prizes and even past dealership sponsorship. Like Squeaky said, it used to be held in January. But most of the events have usually been met with cold, wet, sometimes freezing rain type weather. I remember standing in the cold rain a couple years ago manning the gate, and another year when an ice storm hit the same weekend. Sure made for some miserable camping! Despite the event's historical weather woes, it's always managed to draw record numbers, often rivaling Mega Run numbers, with folks coming as far away as California, including a guest appearance by racing legend Ivan "the Ironman" Stewart one year. I'm glad it's been moved to April, but makes me wonder if some freak North Texas Spring hail storm might hit it! Either way, I hope and plan on going next year!

xterror what exactly is a toyato? never heard of those before........ lol Replace the "y" with an "m" and it'd make some fine salsa when mixed with some peppers.
