First Jeep, lots to learn Wednesday, January 18, 2012 2:20 PM (permalink)
When the old 97 Silverado started limping at 260k I decided I needed to bite the bullet and get something different.  Spent a couple months surfing across the southwest and finally located 'Just the Jeep' I wanted right down the road.  I'm loving the "new" blue 2002 TJ SE, previous owner ignored it's heritage and left it stock with barely a scratch on the skid plates, so I took it out to rectify that right after purchasing with new friends from the dealer and was amazed at what it made it over without a single upgrade.  Need to keep it low enough and Fuel efficient to make the daily grind to the office and fit in the parking garage, but hoping to be able to keep enough bolt on parts in the garage to be able to transform it to a more capable trail rig for weekends and the impending zombie apocalypse.  I know just enough mechanic-ese to grasp concepts, but haven't ever repaired anything with more bolts than a tire.  Hope to see y'all soon (maybe Tolar in Feb?!?!?)

We have members that have very capable Jeeps that are driven daily. Definitely join us for club meetings to talk shop with them, and on the forum of course.

Welcome! My Jeep is a daily driver also.
If you can swing it you should definitely come to Mega Run first and foremost. Even if the Jeep is stock you will have a blast =)
