An update for the Park...we were able to do a full assessment of the trail conditions this weekend, and either corrected or addressed what was possible.
The "Two Steep" trails (2H & 2I) are now both blocked off by cones at the bottom entrances. The Ridgeline trail area at the top of those two trails are also blocked off by cones and some brush and limbs.
(See separation pics above) The Power Line Road directly next to the Twins area is now considered a three diamond trail due to it's deteriorated condition...there is an approximate 3 foot ledge at the bottom of it, and extremely muddy. The drop off cannot be seen from the top of the trail...will need 33's - 35's to get up it.
There are now two easy access trails in and out of the west end of the Park and back to the front...
The far right bypass side of the Twins(which was recently cut), next to Hamburger Hill, and, a new bypass trail Mapman and I cut Saturday. It is actually the easiest and flattest access trail from the Spider Web to the Power Line Road as of now...it does not have trail markers as of yet, and winds through the trees
(see trail map below, dotted green line)...Hatchet Bypass
Sunday, I marked all trail signs with their corresponding trail map letter-number designations to make it easier to recognize which trails guests are on when entering trails. We will continue to update information as trail conditions change.
