A better way to make sure an event happens the way you would like it is to take it over and plan it when people are asking for help. You know, I have asked for help on this for quite a while now. Since WFTW. I am still exhausted from the work I do with that but I managed to muster up quite a bit in a very short time in a very large state with a time schedule to fit the JEEPS not you. Between this and WFTW I will have put over 2400 miles on the road in 2 weeks. I have had very little support in the Dallas area on this and lots of complaints , more than just here so I am not just saying DFW-TX4WD. Several, not just one, club dropped the ball back on me. We in the lower half do not see this an inconvenience. Sitting in a sand box for year and coming home without your legs is an inconvenience. For us, this was Dare and i will be damned we beat it. I am sorry if you guys feel like you did not have time to prepare, but we had little as well. In fact, I spent over 8 hours on a phone today working on the lower half of the state and now, tomorrow, will do the same for the upper half. I guess I am more of take control and get the job done type, I am not going to sit around, let others do the work for me. I made a commitment to follow through with this, and I have.
Those who would like to help.....Voice up. It is appreciated more than you know.
And, they are hitting every 4 wheelparts store they can because of the amount work, product, and money they donate to our troops and our wounded military. they are one of the largest supporters of this event and of our Wheelers for the Wounded. They send many thousands of dollars overseas to help our troops stay safe and donate lots of money to wounded veteran transition units. So, yes, if possible, I personally would like to stop at everyone and thank them.
