Great thread, Tony. All our soldiers overseas are heroes to me, especially the ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice for us. God Bless 'em all. My own personal heroes are no longer serving, but they did at one time. They include: My Dad - drafted in the U.S. Army in '68 during Vietnam and spent 3 years in the Army, then 17 more in the U.S. Air Force. My Uncle Billy - USMC - survived the siege at Khe Sanh My Uncle Manolo - U.S. Army - survived Korea - may you rest in peace and God Bless! My Step-Granddad Guilo - U.S. Army - survived Korea and then retired 20 years later as a drill sergeant - may you rest in peace and God Bless! My Uncle Juan - USMC - survived several first landings and close combat in the Pacific during WWII - may you rest in peace and God Bless! Special thanks to you and the rest of your crew, Corey! Stay low, stay safe and come back home!
