Clayton OK Baertrax Run Oct 7-9th

Just as the subject line states. This will be my next for sure event as it has been been approved by my CFO "wife". These guys threw a great run out at K2 last month why not do it again. They will have a live band and I'll see about having a bucket or two with free beer. Hope you guys like Milwaukee's Best light lol. /j/k Josh and his wife are the new owners of Baertrax and they are about as good people as Russ and Chrissy Baer, the previous owners.
 
Now I have heard that people have heard about razor sharp rocks and destroyed tires  but really......find out for yourselves and that's why we ALL carry a spare.....even if it's not the exact same size or brand as long as its round. A stock JK wheeled out there (Derek from Two Box Designs) and while he didn't have the clearance that most didbut  he was still able to wheel most of the trails and take bypasses. He has since gotten lockers and protection. Josh told me that he has wheeled all over the US and that Clayton was his favorite. I have been wanting to get out there and I'm sure some of you have too. From what I have heard we stay at a local motel located a few blocks from gate and just drive on the side of the road convoy type. I've seen about every youtube vid on clayton and it looks "nice". Afterwards it's a tailgate type party back at the Hotel parking lot.  I will post more info as I get it.

I have heard a lot of good about clayton, OK.  There are several good runs going on right around that time frame.  Going to have to pick and choose...
I am definitely down to make a few of these though!

I have been blackmailed into this one by Tonto.  Are you planning on getting a hotel room or pitchin a tent.  The sleeping kind. 

Most of us are staying at the A&A Hotel  918-569-4101 ask for Greg. I would call them ASAP to book your reservation. Rooms are about 50 bucks a night. Don't wait last minute.

Just Spoke with my CFO/COO and she stated that I have to choose between Shiloh and Clayton.  Being that they are so close to each other.  Our CFOs need to get together to see what they want to do.  What do you think bro?  Maybe we could buy trophies for Clayton and do our own run for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and stuff like most carnage and best looking.

Trophies sound great. From what the guys are saying running mostly mild trails with extreme stuff all around if you want to get nasty....I'm getting as nasty as I can. My wish list is long on the goodies I want to get before hand but Tonto will just have to make due without his PSC extreme kit and 42in Pitbull Rockers....lol. Oh, and 60's all around.

Shiloh Ridge is a parking lot compared to Clayton.

I am really thinking of going to this trip instead of Shiloh Ridge.  It is a hard decision since I have not missed one since Spring 2008.  Oh and don't forget this is what I come home with.

Ok slow your roll dude. Poor choice of words. I didnt mean it that way. I was talking about our agreement that we had with the mud bogg. If you went to that i would go to clayton, even if that meant i could not go to shiloh.

Hey guys... This is Josh. I have asked the powers at be if it was cool to post up my event for you all to know about.. And I have been granted, AWESOME!
 
I will be doing a full thread on the event in the next couple days. Until then here are some of the highlights
FREE event just like I always do, however you will have to pay your normal park fees, I think its 20 per day now.
I will be providing about 100 hamburgers and about 150 hotdogs with all the fixings saturday night at the rodeo grounds, I will also be providing a live band again, raffle prizes, and yes FREE BEER AGAIN. Now-Now, it wasnt just Milwaukee's Best light, I had Bud Light, Miller Light, Coors Light and even had some Corona's in there but they didnt last long. Last event in Katemcy I bought 15 cases and this event I will buy about 20...
 
I will have event packets for sale for preregistration. These packets will include Tshirts, Koozies, Raffle tickets, coupons and much more...
The event is expected to have about 150 rigs, last event we had at Katemcy was 107 rigs and we all had a blast...

Drunkenmugsy and I are heading out today. Staying at the A&A motel. Call if you want to hook up on the trails or something. We've never been so were wheeling with the baertrax and FWDFW crew.

You guys missed out!  Clayton is some awesome wheeling.  I have never gone so big.  Saw a lot of jeeps break with mild upgrades.  Be prepared when you go out there.  Wheel smart and always remember - Safety third!

Oh yeah, there wasn't any mud either and I only saw 3 rigs running Boggers. Lmao! But if it was wet at all I don't think I would even wheel the access roads.
