Bridgeport closed 01/30-01/31 Thursday, January 28, 2010 11:33 AM (permalink)
The OHV park will be closed this weekend Jan. 30-31 due to the present inclement weather conditions and the impending heavy rain/freezing rain/sleet forecast in the Bridgeport area. This is per the City of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Board, and it will also be announced on the City's official website shortly.
Thank you, normal Park operating hours will resume the following weekend weather conditions permitting.

Can't blame them.  Wise management on their part.  TMTC is now having to deal with bad erosion problems at BMRA.  Better that Bridgeport try its best to avoid those problems as much as possible.  We sure have had a whole lot of rainy weather these past 6 months or so.

Wonder if they are trying to avoid erosion problems or just safety of ice?

Well, I hope they're considering erosion problems.  Erosion problems are partly to blame for Tellico's closure.
