Ok folks we have another interesting event that has been brought to our attention. 
 
The city of Bridgeport is putting on an annual "Coal Miners' Heritage Festival"  and it is being hosted by Rock City Burger.  It's a 4x4 show and shine for all you folks with cool stuff to show off.  Crazydave this is perfect for you!
I realize it's somewhat short notice, but it has some great perks, including two free passes to the offroad park!!
 
Hopefully you can view the .pdf file we are working on getting the flyer up and the registration form up for everyone.

If you are planning on going, download the form pretty quick.  You need to have your form and entry fee sent in by Sept 23.

Whatttttt? You have to pay? That's a hefty fee for a parking spot!

I was planning to put my rig in the shop after the children outing and I hope Ken would be done before the 24th.   I would think they will take your money even if you did not sign up for it.    Will have to see if it is possible.   

Yes you have to pay, but you get a shirt a cheap meal and $50 worth of park entry at Bridgeport if you are one of the first 50 entered!

Guys and gals, this is a great chance to show off your rig and have a lotta' fun out there at the same time...the freebies alone are well worth a lot more than the registration fee...TWO free passes to the Park are a $50 value, plus a t-shirt, and a free meal at Rock City Burgers...come on y'all 

I doubt I will make this one folks.  I wouldnt go with a clean jeep anyway.  Probably go get it all muddy and then win the dirtiest vehicle award or something.

My rig is in the shop taking care of minor issues plus maybe a built rear bumper so I doubt it will be ready by the next weekend.

We would really love to see as many of y'all as possible come out for this fun event...your rig doesn't have to shine, just needs to register and show up...this is all about getting together for the town and camaraderie for the fellow wheelers out there.

Z- I got a spidershade so my noggin might even get a little tan this year rather than burn in 60 seconds.  I like it!
