An update for anyone coming out to the Park this weekend....
The operating hours are 8 - 5 Saturday and Sunday, we lock the gates at 5 p.m.
The TORN motocross event will be out there this weekend also, but it will be held outside of the off-road perimeter area. Other than the access road up to the gate house, it will have no effect on wheeling activities. Their event coordinators will have spotters for the bikes crossing the access road and they have two predesignated spots for the crossings.
LSJC will also be holding their "powder puff" ladies run at the Park this weekend, so you will have a little company out there. I would imagine they will stay somewhat on or around the easier trails though.
Hopefully the weather will coordinate with us this time, although the forecast calls for rain Friday and Sunday afternoon. The Park has been very muddy for a while now due to the rains we have been getting, so expect to have to do a good cleanup on your rig after-wards.
We try our best to help with keeping everyone not only informed of the trail conditions, but be as helpful as we possibly can in trail guidance, on the spot Park info, and any other assistance we can deliver to make for a safe and pleasurable experience...Also, the air compressor is up and running for anyone that needs to air up before leaving. Michelle and I are happy to assist with any questions or issues that arise at the Park.
For anyone that doesn't already know...
Everyone entering the Park will be issued a rules and regulation sheet, and will have to sign a waiver before entering. We should also have more State OHV stickers available for any vehicle that not have a 2010 one already in place. One will be included with the price of admission if you do not have a current one attached to the windshield. Additional ones can be purchased for a $8 fee.
