Why couldn't you just do that to my post. Now we have 2 with similar names! Anyway, anyone thinking of going to this. I am, but would have to leave early due to softball!

Just in case everyone isn't aware as yet, we have named a trail at the Park in Brad's honor...known as "Big Beav", listed on the trail map as 3G, and is one of the most if not the most difficult trail at Bport...a true 5 diamond level, not many can complete it.

The calendar event and this post are linked.  Oh yeah, you have the ability to create calendar events...check the BOD forum, I posted instructions a few weeks back when I set up the calendars.  Dang Canadians, you can lead them to water...

Great point, forgot to mention that.

Yeah, that is definitely a tough trail.  Kevin (Slyder) went up it last fall.  Halfway up his compressor quit and he lost his lockers in a pretty nasty spot.  He had to do a quick trail repair in order to make it all the way.  I think that was the same trip where he went on to kill a springover and snap his rear longarm on Hamburger Hill.

Is registation required? I am planning to attend but will not know for sure until the end of the week.

I would shoot Tammy an e-mail at the address posted above and at least let her know you are tentative at this point and confirm yes or no when you can.  I'm sure the pre-registration is so she can plan on how much food for lunch.  Or just show up at Bridgeport and pack a lunch just in case.  I'd imagine if there are extra plates available you could pitch in your $15 without pre-registering.  Another option might be to bring your own lunch and pitch in what you can as a donation to the cause.  Remember, this is all for charity in Brad's memory so any donations would surely be appreciated.

I've just cross posted this event to the LSJC forum.  Figured there might be some folks over there who might like to attend as well.
