B-port grand opening the 19th Monday, September 14, 2009 12:47 PM (permalink)
Just a reminder that this Saturday, the 19th is the grand opening day for Bridgeport. It is going to be an open day and free to all who come out to wheel the park....we are expecting a huge turnout for the event, and we would really love to see as many of you come out and join us for what forecasts to be as a pretty nice weekend of weather. A few days of sun and wind this week should dry the park up for some great wheelin' this coming weekend.
Some area off-road clubs and sponsors will also be setting up tables and booths on site. If the club has an interest in setting up for that, please PM me or Lil' Red, or contact me at 214-662-6384, and we will forward the info on to the park administrator to get in touch with our club for details.
Michelle and I will working the park on the 19th & 20th,and we hope to see y'all out there.
Regular park fees will be in place for Sunday, the 20th.

Make sure if you trailer your rig you take the key to the rig with you.

No camping at Northwest Park. There was another place fairly close mentioned at the meeting last friday for those who want to camp in the Brigeport area. Think it was some state park or similar, can't recall the name though. Think it is on or near the lake.

                oh yeah,

I look at it now and what a dumb @#$%^&*
I get all the way out there, pay my entrance fee, park the trailer, start to unload and Ka-Prow I got now jeep key.

So no big deal I drive another 2 hours and fifteen minutes round trip. Laughing and kicking my self the whole way. 10 minutes from the park and Jimmy calls and says he just blew out his power steering pump

Now I stop and think. Someone is trying to tell me not to go wheeling. I then deicide I am going to listen to my gut. I strap up the jeep and we all headed home.
