BMRA Work Weekend Tuesday, August 12, 2008 6:07 PM (permalink)
Come one, come all! Twice a year in the Spring and Fall BMRA has some work days. The Work Days this Fall will be on October 18 & 19. If you and your Club have sponsored trail make plans to be at the Park on this date. This year we have had lots of rain out at the mountain and lots of the trails are becoming over grown. Your Help is needed to get things back in shape.
Remember, Free admission for a little work!

If you or your group is planning on coming out post up here so we can get a head count for the food that is needed to feed everybody.
Also feel free to post this thread on your home forums and help spread the word!

I'm out, already planning on the Katemcy run in early October and the Halloween Ride at Shiloh in late October.  Don't think I could swing a third!

I'd like to go but I'll have to see what's going on with school at that time.

If the Taco is fixed up by then I will be there.  Gotta get an oil leak taken care of and finish up the small details on the SAS that werent done right originally.
Swapping the oil pan to a rear sump, straightening the drag link to rid it of the "S" style link, hi-steer and ram relocation.  I really want to get the exto-cage done before wheeling it again but I can do some trail cleaning without it...  LOL!!  Just have to stay off the really hard stuff til its caged.

Just wanted to reply and remind all that work weekend at BMRA is Oct 18th weekend.  I would like to be there, but I have camping with Cub Scouts that weekend.

Right now BMRA is working on groups that are adopting trails to get out and work on the trails.

                    Thanks

So who all is planning on going to BMRA for the work weekend?

I was asked by the OHV rep how many from the club would be coming out.

Since no one is going to Gilmer I have decided to head out Friday afternoon for my Brother-in-laws out in East Texas.  I guess I will see Dave on Saturday morning at 7:30am or so at the park.

I think I remember that Cafe.  I will stop by and see if you are there.  What time do you plan on being at the cafe?
