Charlie, there are two other events that weekend that I am aware of. That might impact participation....but....I'll post it up to the official events calendar for statewide TX4WD and the HJP site. Please email me any details (what do the volunteers need to bring (trash bags, chain saws etc) and all that. tmacorke@att.net Thanx for providing us this opportunity!

Here is the official word... It's time once again for the BMRA Fall Trail Clean-up Weekend! Come on out by yourself or with your club and help maintain the trails for yours and others riding enjoyment and enhanced safety. We'll make sure all solo workers are paired up with a work buddy or group. Please bring your own tools. All entry fee's are waived for trail workers. If you work 1/2 day, you can wheel 1/2 day. If you work whole day, you can wheel whole day. We will be serving hamburgers, hotdogs and cold drinks for all workers on Saturday only. Please remember to complete the volunteer log book to record all your volunteer hours. Hope to see many of you at Barnwell during trail clean-up! Thanks, CJ __________________ Chris Jester - FMCG BMRA Secretary

As always, For those that will be attending, please bring along some tree pruners (loppers), chain saws and any other tools you can think of for cleaning and maintaining trails. As we get closer, I will post up specifics, but right now, I am hoping to meet all workers at the pavilion prior to getting started. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is there a way to do a sign up sheet so I can get a head count? I would like to make sure we have enough food for the cookout. How do you guys handle that on this forum?

Official club events usually run signups outside the forum because we gather more info than the forum signups allow. For something like this where you just want a headcount, I've set this up on the calendar with the signup option enabled and we can give that a try. Go to the event page here... http://www.dfw-tx4wd.org/forums/calendar.aspx?&eventID=109 Then pause your mouse over event options and select "sign up"

C'mon guys and gals, who's in for this? Half day of work = half day fun for free. Full day of work = full day of fun for free. All for a good cause and all for the benefit of those who use the park.

Okay Mike and I are in. We will take one Jeep so we will have two extra seats if anyone wants to pitch in for gas and ride along. (Or we can ride with someone else if you have a more fuel efficient vehicle...with cheaper tires ;) Who else is in? Cause it will be hard for the two of us to cover 1800 acres

We will be headed out Friday and camping. When were you planning on going? Ninjessie Okay Mike and I are in. There were some on the state forum that were interested in going but I have not heard if they are definite or not.

I have scheduled Friday as vacation so I plan to be there for campin Friday night. The Houston Jeep People have confirmed 5 RSVPs to attend Saturday - will there be sufficient informaiton at the gate for those that aren't on the TX4WD forums to read about it?

It is on the BMRA home page and the TMTC forum and calendar. I would imagine Lawton and Karen will know about it and can inform people as they arrive at the gate if they ask.
