Any firearm fans here?

I am an avid shooter and until the bronco gets moving is my go to hobby. I just got done building a AR-15 in .300 Blackout and also picked up a FAL. I usually shoot at quail creek in ft. worth, but sometimes make it over to gibsons in mesquite. Who here shoots what and where??

I shoot as a hobby at times, I hunt deer, hogs, birds, etc. I own half a dozen long guns and a few short ones. I have recently gotten more interested in the assult type guns like the two you have though I have not been able to justify the cost to own one over my other many hobbies. I really want a silencer for my P-22 and then build an AR.

Ill shoot anything I can get my hands on. As far as owning though, I have a Remington 870, an *old* Mosin-Nagant, and som small caliber pistols. I would like to get a Sig rifle though, or the Ruger SR-556.

As for the NFA item, i can't help. But the AR, that is what i do on the side and can help there. I built my AR for under 700 bucks without optics. There are companies out there with sales all the time. IE, lower receiver for $59, and an complete upper with bcg and charging handle for $299. If your patient, you can build an AR over a few months pretty cheap.

You can build them for less than $450. Question is do you want to? A buddy of mine actually built a pretty decent one for about $500. The Sig one is sweet, I almost bought one. I just cant justify paying that much for it. I have a few pistols and a shotty. Have not shot much in the last 6 or 7 months. I usually go to Bullet Trap or Garland Public.

Almost all AR-15 parts are milspec. You should be able to build a 556 rifle that is a shooter for 500-600. As for the Sig 556, it is a sweet rifle, but too much money for this guy lol. I also have a Mosin-Nagant Chansuke. It is one of my favorite WWII rifles behind my Lee Enfield SMLE.

Got a few pistols, a rifle and shotgun. I usually go to Elm Fork Range off Northwest Hwy in Dallas. Haven't been in awhile because it has been to dang hot, but now that the weather is cooling down.

I'm quite the firearm enthusiest, but I haven't been to the range in a long time. I tend to go hunting more often. As for the AR, I built one from Model 1 sales. With their kit and a stripped lower you can build a basic one for about 450, or add on a bunch of goodies and spend upwards to 1500. For NFA stuff and regular stuff, I have a friend that is a dealer, gunsmith, and firearm manufacturer. Good guy to know if your into guns. Hit me up if ya want/need his contact info.
