I had one on the Liberty that I used once. Had a window bracket repair done in 2008 but the same window broke again in 2010 so I used a metal bracket I bought instead of the oem plastic junk and had it repaired for good. You may want to check with consumer reports but they generally say stay away. just put money into a car repair savings account. also when i had the warranty you had to show proof that the truck was well maintain. keep accurate records.

i actually work at a auto shop and see these in quite a bit. if you do plan on getting one BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT CAREFULLY!!! also, dont go with the cheapest one you can find cause they usually dont cover anything you have. they will always say that the part that actually caused the problem is not covered therefore anything that the warranty would not originally cover, even if it is a direct result of a covered part failure will not be covered. the best ones i have seen usually come from the actual dealerships or from carmax. i wouldnt trust the ones advertised on tv or sold through some mom and pop used car lot. if you want to do it, you can always call the warranty company themselves and ask lots of questions. if they are unwilling to answer or you feel like they are BS'ing you, then i wouldnt go for it. ive seen some really good ones that would cover eveything, and ive seen some that wont cover anything at all.
