In my travels I have found a tan 79 Power Wagon (w200). This truck can be bought for a good price I think. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I need to look at when I go to look it over more closely? I already know that it has solid hubs on the steering axle, and a full floating rear axle, and a small block v8(318, 360). The help will be greatly appreciated, as it will be nice to have a 4x4 that is not the daily.
Yeah it's stock! so lets Wheel.

pretty solid trucks look for usual stuff leaks, rust, etc. my only gripe about them is they are hard to resale because they aren't very pretty to look at lol it should have a d60 up front or hd44 and a d60 rear trans will be tf727 if its auto and t case should be np205 and it will most likely be a 360 because they where more common in the 3/4tons. also they weigh almost 12,000 lbs so dont expect it to be easy on gas lol

You need to call Ken at his shop at 817 834 8414 since he is a mopar junkie.  He can help you find parts you may need.

OK I bought the truck, going to need some work. The front is a d44, and the rear is a 12 bolt Chrysler. The transfer case I dont recognize, it is cast iron and has bolt on drive shaft yolks instead of slip yolks. I also ended up with the contents of the bed so if anyone needs some steel wheels let me know.
