When are you buying a gun? The camera doesn't really "shoot" anything at the hogs or deer.

i was able to get a nice nap in while sittin' in my stand sat. morning.. i didn't go back sunday.. i hope to be out there this sunday.. good thing is i only live 10 mins. away from my lease.. :)

i just gave up an 800 acre lease that was archey only . the guys running the property were trying to manage the deer for about 15 yrs they said . also said dont kill anything with less than 10 points ! um dont you want those deer to breed ? why not kill a 5 yr old deer that has 9 points and scores a good 130 maybe 140 ? hunted hard last season and saw lots od mature deer that didnt meet their criteria for shooters . very frustrating .. no lease this year . the hunt for a place to hunt has began again .......

you shoot the dominant bucks to try to prevent inbreeding, and  let the younger bucks get a chance to breed, and keep the dna pool varied. inbreeding can really mess with antler development and cause a host of other genetic problems.

Ok Ijust logged on for the first time in a while. Well when I left work on the Friday before opening day I was headed to the lease and my wife called and said her dad took a turn for the worse. Well we ended up burrying him on my birthday (weds. 11-9-11) i did get to make it to the lease for 1 day and I killed a nice buck. I dedicated it to my father in law. He was an avid hunter but couldnt last couple years for health reasons. There have been 3 bucks taken like mine this season so far. And many more that are bigger have been seen. Going back Thanksgiving weekend. Yall have a good hunt.

LOL i just do not get the whole hunting thing but more power to you guys.

Come out hunting hogs with me some time and you either will have a blast or be scared to death. Probably the latter. LMAO!
