MEGARUN XII will be held at Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area (BMRA) in Gilmer, Texas on Friday, March 02, 2012. Five vehicle classes (Mild, Wild, Extreme, Unlimited, and UTV) allow participants to compete against similar rigs. You will be allowed to do trail rides in any classification (the trail leader must approve drivers who wish to participate in a trail ride for a class that is higher than their registered class). This allows for groups of friends to come to the event, run together, and have a good time. The event consists of five main stages. Friday evening there will be a Poker Run trail ride for competitors to get their trail legs ready for the weekend. Saturday will start with an AM trail ride. Lunch time can be spent eating and we will begin running the Rock Garden, the optional Obstacle Course, the Blind Mans Bluff, and fixing your rigs from the morning's fun. At the end of the day, a meal will be served and we will hold an awards ceremony and raffle off some 4x4 gear. Sunday morning, bright and early, we will hold the King of the Hill challenge.
